PREPARATORY COURSE


The preparatory department was founded in 1962. The aim of the preparatory department is teaching the Russian language and basic fundamentals of medicine to the foreign students. Having graduated successfully from the preparatory department, the students apply to the first year of the University on a specialty chosen. The duration of the preparatory faculty is 10 months. 

The program of the Russian language course at the preparatory department gives the possibility to develop the students skills in making notes of scientific texts, mastering the special terminology, understanding and writing lectures. Here students also extend their knowledge of Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Computer Science. 

The students are to receive the most necessary skills in reading, listening, writing and speaking with focused work on subjects specific to the University classroom. The teachers of the preparatory faculty are competent, friendly and dedicated professionals. They have extensive experience in teaching the foreign students. There are several lingaphone cabinets are used for the teaching.

The program of the preparatory department curriculum is approved by the Ministry of education and Ministry of Public health, Ukraine and gives the right to enter the following faculties: medical faculty; dentistry and postgraduate training. These will help you to prepare for the content and level of the degree course subjects, as well as to familiarise yourself with the method of teaching at the Crimea State Medical University.
